Remembrance Day 2022
Residents, staff, family and friends gathered in the Chapel for a small Remembrance Day service to honor Canadian veterans. Traditional bagpiping signified the start of the service as everyone stood in silence. A few Villagers led us in poems and the national anthem. The Last Post, Flowers of the Forest, and God Save The King were played to honor those who served and perished. With some veterans in attendance, beautiful words and stories were shared that spoke to what the veterans’ sacrifice meant to us as a nation but also on a personal level. We thank all who attended the service.
Lest we forget.
As always, our friendly team at the Presentation Centre is happy to take visitors on a private tour of St. Elizabeth Village. Contact our Presentation Centre to book an appointment!
