Site plan for $60 million project to go to the city in the coming weeks

Construction on Phase 1 of what is expected to be an $800 million redevelopment at the Village at St. Elizabeth Mills on the south-west Mountain is expected to begin next March.
“This is the first of 1,200 new units,” said Tony DiFruscio, president of Zest Communities which purchased the former 58 hectare St. Elizabeth Village in 2014 and formed the nonprofit Novacore Retirement Communities Association to manage the 55-plus retirement community. “We’re really excited to put the shovel in the ground.”
