ZEST has been busy renovating the existing Garden Homes at The Village. Homes are receiving a facelift inside and out. In keeping with the overall plan for the site’s development, the existing Garden Homes are being retrofitted in a variety of architectural styles including Country Cottage, Farmhouse, Beach House. By using different materials, colours and design, The Village will have the appearance of being developed naturally over time.
Inside revisions to the homes’ interiors include larger master bedrooms, wider doorways, additional storage space, new kitchens with quartz countertops, contemporary cabinetry, flooring and appliances, new bathrooms [tubs, walk-in showers, vanities, fixtures, etc.], new flooring throughout, new doors, and trim.
St. Elizabeth Retirement Residence, located within St. Elizabeth Village, offers affordable independent and assisted living. With beautiful views of the natural landscape, our spacious private and shared rooms are bright, comfortable and secure. Zest’s master plan for the Village includes upgrading the Retirement Residence.

As the impact of COVID-19 is felt across the globe, we have implemented procedures to ensure the health and safety of our residents, their families, our staff and our vendors.
In order to follow mandated provincial guidelines, we are cancelling all programs and events, and closing all recreational and non-essential facilities. These closures will be in place until further notice.
All of our staff are required to self isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work if they have traveled outside of Canada or come into contact with someone who has travelled internationally. In addition to these steps, all staff and vendors are subject to thorough assessment and screening on a daily basis. Furthermore, we have temporarily closed our presentation centre. We also request that residents self isolate for 14 days when returning home from destinations outside of Canada or have been in direct contact with anyone who may have travelled internationally. Social distancing is an important contribution that everyone can make to help keep ourselves, our loved ones and our neighbours safe. We continue to work closely and follow all recommendations from our local public health team and the Ministry of Health to protect the health and safety of our residents and staff.
